After School classes at Spanish Schoolhouse are for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The goal of this program is to foster the love of the Spanish language in your child while working on vocabulary, pronunciation and whole language skills.
Our Spanish classes designed to be interactive and captivating for your child, since studies show that when multiple senses are used in studying a subject, the absorption of the material is maximized. Students will be playing games, singing, doing science experiments, cooking, reading books in Spanish, learning about the culture, and more. By playing and having fun with the Spanish language, each child develops a sense of curiosity and a desire to continue learning, as well as a strong language base to grow on.
Classes are offered two days per week. Children may enroll in one or both days, with a 10% discount available for two-day enrollment. Weekly themes will be used with different activities on each of the two days, allowing vocabulary to be reinforced.
